WHAT IS DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE
Door to Door service is a pickup and drop service wherein Avaan Excess will pick up your shipment from your doorstep and deliver it to your destination doorstep.
We have pickup and delivery services across 25,000 pincodes in India. We also deliver worldwide to 190+ countries.

Yes, you can use only one bag for each weight category that you select. For example, in case you select the 30kgs option, you are allowed to use only 1 bag weighing up to 30kgs (and not 2 bags with a cumulative weight of 30 kgs). Please note that the shipment will be re-weighed and re-measured once it reaches the warehouse after pickup. In case of any difference, charges will have to be paid for the same.
Pickups are done between 10am-6 pm on the scheduled pick up date. Round the clock pickup will be arranged . Conditions apply*

In case you wish to cancel your booking for any reason, you can contact Avaan customer service at +91 9100014929 or service@aakaashxpress.com with your Aakaash Booking ID. Please note that a cancellation penalty of 10% will apply in case the order is cancelled before pickup, and 30% will apply in case the order is cancelled at the time of pickup. Post pickup, the service will be deemed non-cancellable and non-refundable. For baggages dropped directly at the airport kiosk the booking is non-cancellable and no refunds will be provided.
HOW ARE AAKAASH XPRESS SERVICES PRICED
Our services are priced based on factors such as the weight, dimension and pickup/delivery destination of the luggage.
We accept payment via credit/debit cards, UPI and net banking. We do not accept cash payment.
Our pricing is transparent, but additional fees may apply if the pickup/delivery location is in the outskirts of the city- which we term as ESS locations.

Our tracking updates are real time. However, if due to unforeseen circumstances, you do not see any updates or the tracking numbers shows invalid, it may have not yet been despatched from its origin. Once despatched it would give timely updates. You can get in touch with our customer support team at +91 9100014929
Your shipment can be delivered to you anytime between …. am and …. pm on the same day when it is marked as out for delivery.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY SHIPMENT IS LOST ?
Aakaash Xpress takes every precaution to ensure the safe handling of luggage, but in the event of loss a compensation of maximum Rs 2,000/- will be offered in case your baggage is lost. You can contact Aakaash team directly for the compensation request.

We will let you know our closest office location to your place. You can drop the parcel there or we can pick it up from your place at a nominal charge.

It doesn’t take more than 30 minutes to book a parcel with us.
There are specific regulations set by the carrier companies like FedEx, DHL & UPS etc. When you specify the item we will let you know if there are any restrictions to sending that parcel. Some items which have restrictions are perishable goods, dangerous goods etc. There is no restriction on the number of items that can be sent in general.

Every parcel has to go with certain documentation describing it for security purposes. We have listed the standard forms and documents that go with each kind of shipments.
The shipping rate is calculated approximately on the basis of two main parameters – Weight and Location. However, the exact rate is known only after the shipment is packed. Once it is packed the volumetric weight is taken into consideration. The cost of a shipment can be affected by the amount of space that it occupies in the aircraft, rather than the actual weight. This is the volumetric (or dimensional) weight.

At the time of booking we will give you an AWB (Airway bill)Number. www.aakaashxpress.in where you can track the shipment by providing this AWB Number. You will know the exact location of your parcel at any point of time till delivery using this information.
We ensure perfect packing as per standards. Fragile items are labeled as FRAGILE so that special care is taken while handling them. For these kind of items a process called palletization is undertaken to ensure meticulous packing techniques are followed.

We file for claim with the carrier company like FedEx, DHL, ARAMEX, TNT or UPS etc. depending on material damage. There is no claim procedure for fragile items. An indemnity letter is to be submitted beforehand to the carrier as per guidelines. All the same we do we our best to ensure that it is packed carefully, labeled as FRAGILE and handled carefully.
